This Thursday, we were pleased to welcome Ty Kalklosch, Co-Founder of PayLease, to lead our discussion. PayLease is a leading B2B SaaS provider of payment solutions to the property management industry. Ty’s involvement with the company includes founding PayLease in 2003, bootstrapping the business for several years, and participating in three majority investment rounds from some of the most reputable software-focused private equity firms in U.S. PayLease is currently backed by Vista Equity Partners, and previously received growth investments from Francisco Partners and Mainsail Partners. Ty offers a very unique perspective, as he has remained on the management team since the company’s inception.

We also enjoyed a terrific wine tasting experience, where we had the opportunity to try a couple of high-quality wines that are produced according to organic, biodynamic, and natural principals. The experience was led by Michel Abood, CEO of Vinotas Selections, who shared his experience championing organic wines at accessible prices and how to select these wines to support small farmers and sustainable growth.
