M&A Experience

Before joining SEG, Paxton was an Investment Banking Analyst at Jefferies in Houston, Texas where he focused on M&A within the Energy sector, specifically Upstream and Midstream Infrastructure Oil & Gas transactions.

Prior to that, he was a Growth Equity Associate at UGF, analyzing software and technology investments. His experience across investment banking and growth equity has equipped him with strong financial modeling and valuation expertise, allowing him to analyze deals and help drive successful outcomes for SEG’s clients.

Born in Utah, Paxton has a love for snowboarding and fresh powder on the slopes. When he’s not snowboarding, Paxton also enjoys grilling for friends, earning him the nickname ‘Grill Master.’
