M&A Experience

Ethan has been with Software Equity Group since January 2024, while completing his undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, and continuing with the firm full-time after graduation. During his time as an intern, he has supported founders and executives throughout the sell-side M&A process, contributing to financial analysis, strategic positioning, buyer outreach, management meetings, and due diligence.

With a background in Probability & Statistics and Business Economics, Ethan pairs analytical rigor with strategic thinking, clear communication, and a relationship-driven approach. He enjoys uncovering insights within complex financial and customer data, translating those findings into compelling rationale for buyers, and collaborating with the SEG team to highlight each client’s strengths, anticipate buyer questions, and help founders navigate one of the most important decisions of their careers.

Originally from the California Bay Area, Ethan enjoys watching and playing many sports, especially soccer. He loves to travel, try new restaurants, and play games with friends. He values learning and growing above all, both in his career and as a person.
