Software Equity Group’s intern analyst, Gregory Gibson, is graduating this weekend as the valedictorian of the University of San Diego School of Business, class of 2019. Upon graduation, he will be joining Software Equity Group full time as an analyst.
Greg majored in Finance and Business Economics and was immersed in several activities and clubs on campus including the Investment Banking Club, Alpha Kappa Psi, and Sigma Phi Epsilon. Greg also participated on a four-man team placing in the finals of the National Investment Banking competition in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. In addition to those activities, Greg was a pianist and cellist for USD Chamber Orchestra and conducted undergraduate research with Economics Professor Dr. Stephen Conroy.
During his time as an intern, Greg was responsible for supporting the deal team and was involved in all aspects of SEG’s business, from client development through deal execution. He supported select transactions including LeaseLabs’ acquisition by RealPage, TeamSupport’s investment from Level Equity, and Happy Software’s acquisition by MRI Software.
“We’ve been very fortunate to have Greg with us as an intern for the past two years and are thrilled to have him join the team as an analyst. There’s no doubt he’s going to make a positive impact at our firm. Greg is the complete package: obviously incredibly brilliant, but more importantly, a true joy to be around with strong intellectual curiosity and phenomenal interpersonal skills.” – Allen Cinzori, Managing Partner.
Congratulations, Greg, on your outstanding achievement!
