Drawing upon their unique experiences becoming successful Industry Experts, CEOs, Co-Founders, Investors, Authors, Philanthropists, and Trailblazers in Finance and Technology, these women will share strategies to implement change from the top and foster a culture of inclusion.
We will be discussing the criticality of gender equality in powering success for your company, methods to attract and hire diverse candidates, and lessons learned from each individual.
- Sue Swenson: [LinkedIn] Sue is a telecom industry pioneer with over a decade of experience ranging from President & CEO of Sage North America to COO of T-Mobile to Vice President of Pacific Bell. She has a plethora of operational experience in wireless telecom, video technologies, digital media, telematics, and small business software. Sue currently sits on the boards of Harmonic, Vislink Technologies, and Sonim Technologies.
- Kristina Heinze: [LinkedIn] Kristina is a Co-Founder and Partner at ParkerGale, a technology-focused private equity firm based in Chicago, IL. Kristina currently sits on the boards of SMA Technologies, EditShare, SurePoint Technologies, Profisee, Contelligent, and Paramount Services. Through her work at ParkerGale, Kristina emphasizes the importance of diversity within her company and its portfolio companies. She is also a member of the Private Equity Women Investor Network (PEWIN), an organization for senior-level women investment professionals in private equity that aims to empower women in the industry.
- Dima Ghawi: [LinkedIn] Dima is an Executive Coach, Keynote Speaker, and author of Breaking Vases. She draws from two decades of corporate experience leading global teams for several Fortune 100 companies, including IBM, Merrill Lynch, and Intuit. Through her work and her global online community, Dima shares her unique leadership journey with one goal in mind – motivate and activate those around her to reimagine their potential and grow into leaders. In addition to her global empowerment work, Dima serves on numerous nonprofit boards. She has been recognized for her services with the 2014 President of the United States Bronze Volunteer Service Award, the 2014 Baton Rouge Business Report’s “Forty Under 40” Award, and the 2016 Louisiana State University “Esprit de Femme Award.” She has been featured in numerous publications for her professional and philanthropic work.
- Dru Armstrong: [LinkedIn] Dru is an Executive Advisor and Former CEO of Grace Hill, a SaaS-based provider of talent and customer management solutions for the real estate industry. The company is continually recognized for its best-in-breed solution by highly regarded investment firms. Grace Hill was acquired by Aurora Capital Partners in May 2021, after receiving previous investments from Stone Point Capital and The Riverside Company. Dru recently accepted a new role to run a large PE-backed, female-founded payments company. She is also an advisor at Beam (Formerly [email protected]), an organization aiming to advance women entrepreneurs striving to scale their businesses.
