PRESS RELEASE OVERVIEW

Software Equity Group’s Client, VisualHOMES, Acquired by Yardi

San Diego, CA, 07/31/10 – Software Equity Group announced today that its client, VisualHOMES, a leading developer of software solutions for North American public housing authorities, has been acquired by Yardi Systems Inc., a leading provider of real estate investment management and property management software.

The acquisition combines the public housing technology expertise of VisualHOMES, which has developed more than 20 fully integrated housing management and financial accounting software modules, with that of Yardi, developer of the comprehensive, browser-based Yardi Voyagerâ„¢ PHA solution for subsidized housing.

“Clients of both companies will benefit from the combination of these industry leaders’ public housing software and domain knowledge. We look forward to leveraging our strengths into solutions that help public housing authorities place low-income tenants into safe, compliant and affordable homes,” said Anant Yardi, president of Yardi Systems.

“We are very pleased to join the Yardi team. VisualHOMES takes pride in consistently exceeding public housing authorities’ requirements for managing applicants, tenants and properties according to Department of Housing and Urban Development regulatory requirements. Our new relationship with Yardi will build on that legacy to help clients, their stakeholders, and their systems work as one to build better communities,” said Raj Bhaskar, CEO of VisualHOMES, whose customers include public housing authorities for the cities of Dallas, Milwaukee and Minneapolis, and the District of Columbia Housing Authority.
