Global private equity firm, The Riverside Company, adds to its extensive portfolio with the acquisition of QueTel Corporation. QueTel will be an add on to Riverside’s Omnigo software platform. The combination will provide a comprehensive incidence and evidence management platform for public safety and law enforcement.
Zoetis Services Acquires Performance Livestock Analytics:
Leader in animal health, Zoetis Services acquires Performance Livestock Analytics. Zoetis discovers, develops, manufactures and commercializes medicines, vaccines, and diagnostic products; complemented by biodevices, genetic tests, and precision livestock farming. Performance Livestock Analytics founded the first digital platform for the livestock industry, which simplifies data collection while providing analytics for livestock producers to make better marketing and management decisions. The acquisition represents another non-tech company making an acquisition in the software space. Further, the acquisition will accelerate Zoetis’ progress in precision livestock farming while improving sustainability of producers’ operations.
Akerna Acquires Trellis Solutions:
Global regulatory compliance technology company, Akerna, acquires Trellis Solutions, a cannabis inventory management software platform. Trellis provides the cannabis industry with technology that tracks cultivation from end to end, optimizing operational workflow while providing business analytics. The acquisition will enable Akerna will enhance it’s product offering with Trellis’s cannabis cultivation management and compliance software. Further, Akerna will be able to leverage Trellis’s flexible platform, and add to its already strong position as the go-to buyer for cannabis technology.
Paylocity Corporation Acquires VidGrid:
Leading cloudHR and payroll software provider, Paylocity, acquires VidGrid. VidGrid provides an interactive video platform for employees and customers to communicate and collaborate across sales, customer success, training, and education. The acquisition expands Paylocity’s learning management system, which will meet the growing needs of connecting employees while driving innovation in communication and learning.
