SEG Sector Deals: Mediware Acquired Kinnser Software

Mediware Information Systems, provider of clinical and performance management information software systems, reached an agreement to acquire Kinnser Software from Georgian Partners and Insight Venture Partners LLC. Kinnser is a provider of web-based software and support solutions for the home health industry. The acquisition will enable Mediware to expand its offerings to provide software to the home health and hospice space. This is in line with the recent acquisition of SEG’s client HomeTrak by ClearCare.

This is the first acquisition by Mediware since being backed by TPG Capital in December 2016. Prior to TPG, Mediware was backed by Thoma Bravo and made six acquisitions since September of 2012.
