Jeff Walker, Vice President,  is one of Software Equity Group's principal deal leads, and is the primary author and editor-in-chief of our firm’s highly acclaimed Software Industry Equity Report.  Jeff also serves as liaison to several of our private equity clients.

Prior to joining Software Equity Group, Jeff was a corporate financial consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton’s Economic Business Analysis team assigned to a major Defense Department client.  Previously, he was a Financial Advisor for First Command Financial Planning in their Chesapeake, VA office specializing in complex managed investment accounts where he was responsible for more than 200 clients.

From 1997 to 2004, Jeff served with distinction as an officer of the United States Navy, including Communications Officer and Electrical Division Officer on the USS Frederick, Command Training Officer on the USS Valley Forge, and Requirements Officer for the Commander of Naval Surface Forces.

Jeff is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy (Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science) and holds an MBA degree (Finance) from Old Dominion University.
